We know what a worrying time it can be moving a loved one into a home. It’s a day that none of us wants to come. It’s our job to take all of that worry away from you and let you trust us to take care of the people in the world most precious to you.
Our welcome includes understanding all we can about our new resident. Their likes, dislikes, food preferences, medical requirements and preferred hobbies.
We also make time to chat about their history, family and career. We genuinely love to spend the time to hear about their lives and it’s amazing what we learn!
We know that choosing care is a big decision. Below are some of the questions we’re asked most often—from what to bring, to how payments work. If there’s anything else you’d like to ask, just get in touch.
Almost everything is provided here with us, including bedding and televisions. The only thing you will need to bring are any toiletries. We welcome residents bringing their own home comforts, ornaments, furniture, lighting and even televisions. Subscriptions can be carried over to the home.
You will be able to keep your own GP and we will ensure that all care plans, medications and resident requirements are transferred over through our Pre-Admission Assessment and Admissions Procedure Checklist. Things like oxygen, support equipment and daily medical needs are all transferred over into our on-site care plans, overseen by our teams of trained medical staff.
We are familiar with handling hospital discharges and can navigate this on behalf of the resident, ensuring that families are kept informed of transfers and settling in processes at all times.
All expected care requirements such as meals, drinks, laundry, personal care, medical care and daily support needs are included, as well as hairdressing, chiropody and on-site activities and excursions.
We can support you in understanding and implementing payment structures through care funding options. Take a look at our Funding Options Process in more detail.
We’re here to help. Whether you’re exploring options or ready to make a decision, we’re happy to talk things through.
From understanding newspaper preferences to decorating a room so it looks like home, we make sure familiarity and personal choice is weaved into every part of our residents’ experience.
We don’t have set visiting times here at our homes, we think it’s important for our residents to be able to treat this as home, and that includes seeing loved ones when they can.
We’re proud of the varied facilities we’re able to offer. From our on-site hairdressers to our communal gardens and homely living spaces.
